week3 JUNE 2024

だいぶ遅れていて、全然毎日やってないけど、英語日記続けてます。 英会話の先生に、毎日自分がやってる行動ひとつひとつを英訳しながら生活しろ！と言われたので、やろうかなと思うのですが、単語がわからず、すぐ挫折しています。そういうのを都度都度きちんと調べれば身についていくのだろうと思います。

やってないので、身についてないです・・・

Mon.10 JUNE 2024

It was a work-from-home day. I did my freelance projects starting with drawing A sushi for a new freepaper magazine. After that, I summarised PDF about the cacao beans character, and lastly I researched AR technology for other clients.

Tue.11 JUNE 2024

It was a work-from-home day. I don’t go to my office anymore! In between the work, I started dipping plums into salt to make Umeboshi. It takes a month to complete the process (Dipping), after that I dry them outside in July. I will make a jam with plums that have been injured.

Wed.12 JUNE 2024

It was a day off; since I chose the working style of four days a week. I had some free time and visited the Exhibition of Akira Uno who is a famous Japanese illustrator and a designer. I could see his earlier works such as animation, children’s picture books, etc. All of his works are great and voluminous.

Thu.13 JUNE 2024

It was a work-from-home day. Today is the deadline to send an illustration for my client. I did my client’s work in the morning. I had already drawn it in oil pastels, so I tuned it on Artstudio Pro which is my favorite app on iPad that I usually work with. I think it’s easier to tune in Artstudio than in Photoshop on an iPad. Although Photoshop has an AI generator which makes work easier and convenient, I suddenly decided to use it to change a part of my drawing at the end.

Fri.14 JUNE 2024

I had a lot of time, so I managed my social media and did some beading work. In the afternoon, I got a message from a woman who is the mother of my daughter’s friend. She said that her daughter would come to my home tomorrow. I was unaware. When was that decided?

Sat.15 JUNE 2024

I went to the dentist for my regular check-ups as I do every three months. Dr. said there was no fear of periodontal disease, but that I should brush my teeth regularly to avoid cavities. After lunch, I had a haircut. Later on, my daughter’s friend came to my home. They played at home quietly. Then she went back home using a kickboard.

Sun.16 JUNE 2024

I spent the day relaxing and playing the ukulele, I also played piano and taught my daughter how to play "The Flea Waltz" and did some beading.

In the afternoon, another one of my daughter’s friends came to visit.

She had planned to come visit weeks before and they played Nintendo Switch together

They looked like they were having so much fun, they played until 5 PM when she left
